Why It Matters

Balanced wheels protect more than just comfort.

Ride & Handling

Even a small imbalance creates vibration you feel in the steering wheel or seat. It's annoying at 30 mph and fatiguing at 70.

Tire & Suspension Life

Imbalance accelerates cupping and uneven wear, and puts extra stress on wheel bearings, tie rods, and ball joints. Fixing the balance extends the life of every part that rides on the wheel.

Common Questions

Quick answers about wheel work.

Is wheel balancing the same as alignment?

No. Balancing corrects weight distribution around each wheel. Alignment adjusts the angles the wheels sit at. Both matter — and they address different symptoms.

Do I need balancing every time I rotate tires?

Not every time. But if you feel vibration after a rotation, or haven't had them balanced in a while, it's worth a check.

I have custom wheels. Can you service them?

Yes. We handle steel and alloy wheels of most sizes. Bring the vehicle in and we'll take a look.

Can you diagnose a bent wheel?

Yes. A balancing machine shows runout (wobble). If a wheel is bent beyond spec, we'll tell you — bent wheels can't be safely balanced and need to be addressed.
